TEVA Week (for Kindergarten to Grade 12)

Meaning "Nature", Teva is our new combined camp for all grades Kindergarten to Grade 12. By providing families the opportunity to send all children to camp at the same time, parents will be able to more easily manage summer vacation schedules and even get a break from all the kids in the house. Program will be consistent with our mission and values, following the theme and schedule from every other summer camp week. We hope, in the future, to offer more of these mixed age camps, if successful. Note; this camp has a double-week option for those needing more time away from home.

TEVA is accessible to children ages 5-17, at a cost of $325.00 per camper.

There are two ways you can save money:

  1. Early Bird Offer: If you register for camp by May 1, 2016, you will receive a 10% discount!
  2. Bring a Friend: For every new camper you bring to camp, the cost of your registration will go down $20.00 (up to a maximum total of $80.00 off your registration.  Note: does not include siblings).

The regular deadline for registration is June 5, 2016.  However, if you miss the deadline please don't hesitate to contact our registrar to inquire about availability.  We tend to have space, and accept registrations on drop-off day.  Please keep in mind that if there are not enough registrations 1 week prior to each camp, we may be forced to cancel. 

Late Fee and Cancellation information

Regarding Late Fees:

We have now introduced a new late fee. An additional $25 will be charged on all registrations made within 1 week before each camp - for that camp. This specifically applies to drop-in registrations and any $50 deposits made the week prior to a camp. 

Example: Early Bird for CIT Experience = $50 deposit + $325 remaining - 10% = $337.50        

Regular registration sent before June 27  = $50 deposit + $325 remaining = $375                            

Registration sent after June 28 $50 deposit + $325 remaining + $25 late fee = $400

 

Regarding Cancellation Policy:

Surprise Lake Camp will notify all registrants no less than 1 week prior to a camp if it has to be cancelled due to various circumstances - including but not limited to: low camper numbers, inadequate staff, safety concerns, etc.

$50 deposit is non-refundable in all cases

Families may cancel within 2 weeks of a camp start.

If the camper needs to leave once already at camp, refunds will only be granted on a case by case basis. 

Home Sick Campers will not be refunded.

REGISTRATION FORMS

This package contains: Health form, Off Site Release form, Photo Release, and Waiver of Liability.  If you have not received this package by mail, please print and bring to camp on the first day.  This will help to speed up your child's registration process.

Rentals

Rental Overview

Surprise Lake Camp is available to Organizations, Churches, Guide and Scout Groups, Families, Schools and everyone else during our off-season. We are officially open for rentals beginning after our Spring Open Work Weekend and conclude the season with a Fall Close Work Weekend. This year SLC will be available for rentals for the duration of August as well.
